Corporate yacht charter with Longbow Cruising

Longbow is one of the larger charter yachts available in Scotland and offers space and comfort for your corporate event. For day outings in sheltered waters she can take up to 10 guests, and she can comfortably sleep up to six guests. Your professional skipper, Ted Warren, can take you and your guests for an exciting day out, a relaxing cruise or a demanding training event. Quotations are based on the number of guests, the duration, the nature of the event and the provision of refreshments.

Some examples of the type of events that are available are given below: do contact Ted to discuss your plans and how Longbow Cruising can help.

Corporate entertainment

Previous corporate events have included day sails around the Clyde, with refreshments and a buffet lunch, and evening cruises with dinner. Longbow is a yacht that will impress your clients and thrill your employees. She has a large cockpit in which everyone can feel safe and comfortable, and sailing experts and beginners alike enjoy sailing her. Your skipper, Ted Warren, will encourage you to take part in the sailing but also understands that some people just enjoy sitting back and relishing the experience.

Management training and team-building

Team-building events aboard Longbow can be based around learning to sail or use the yacht purely as an exciting venue that will put your team into an unfamiliar environment. Sailing presents its own challenges and team spirit is only one of the rewards it can bring. Many people have also found that sailing with a skipper as experienced as Ted helps to build their confidence. He takes responsibility for your safety and the handling of the yacht while you concentrate on your team and their progress. During his long teaching career, he has been involved in many different adventurous training and team-building exercises. These include sail training with Royal Navy cadets, Outward Bound Team-building / Leadership courses, eight Scottish Islands Peaks races and racing on a variety of yachts and dinghies. With this experience he is well positioned to structure an on-board experience to suit your needs.
